Just how much documentation is necessary?
A fiberglass filter tank ruptures with extensive water damage to a neighbor’s property. The homeowner, filter manufacturer and pool tech are all defendants in the lawsuit filed by the neighbor. The pool tech blames a bad filter tank for the damage, but the manufacture is pointing to the pool tech as the cause of the rupture due to increased pressure from a dirty filter. The pool tech has no records to document the filter pressure readings. How do you predict this dispute will be resolved?
