Fire at pool equipment melts pool plumbing
Our client forwarded this photo showing damage to the pump and plumbing after a fire started at the equipment pad. It appears that the origin was the pump, given the extreme charring. Any ideas regarding the cause of this fire?

Fire damage appears to be external from the pump, conduit is melted but the wiring appears to be intact. I cannot make out if there is a circuit ground in the conduit.
just looking at the damage and point of ignition I would guess the fire had nothing to do with the equipment was unrelated to the system. It is tough to tell without being there in person to investigate but the point of ignition appears to be far from the motor and the supply electrical system
